Verbum Dei Camino ’24 - Encountering Life on the Way

Picnic With Jesus

The Verbum Dei Missionary Couple Disciples organized a scripture-based mini-retreat for couples on 4 November 2023 at Labrador Park. 21 couples, aged between late 20s to early 60s, gathered on that beautiful Saturday morning for their ‘Picnic with Jesus’ praying with the Word of God broken by one of our missionary disciple couples

From 1st to 3rd September, 14 families (27 adults and 36 children) went to Le Grandeur Palm Resort in Senai, Johore Bahru, despite the coincidental polling date that was announced after all the preparations had been made
Sr. Monika’s Perpetual Vows

On 14th October 2023, Sr. Monika Tjhin Punan, a local Verbum Dei Missionary, professed her final vows at the Church of St. Francis Xavier. It was truly a joyous celebration for all who were present.

Between 1st and 6th August 2023, 13 young people and 2 missionaries from Verbum Dei Singapore attended World Youth Day in Lisbon, Portugal, with the theme "Mary arose and went with haste" (Luke 1:39).
