Praying with the Psalms II 1/5: Praise God for His loving presence

A Psalm of Praise
I will give you glory, O God my King,
I will bless your name forever.
I will bless you day after day
And praise your name forever.
The Lord is kind and full of compassion,
Slow to anger, abounding in love.
How good is the Lord to all,
Compassionate to all his creatures.
All your creatures shall thank you, O Lord.
And your friends shall repeat their blessing.
They shall speak of the glory of your reign
And declare your might, O God.
The Lord is faithful in all his words
And loving in all his deeds.
The Lord supports all who fall
And raises all who are bowed down.
~Ps 144
Moses said to God, “Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is his name?’ Then what shall I tell them?”
God said to Moses, “I am who I am. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I am has sent me to you.’” ~ Exodus 3:13-14
"As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you.
Now remain in my love." ~ John 15:9
Read the passages prayerfully.
Let God introduce Himself to you: “I am. I exist. I am present with you.“ Listen to Him as He assures you of His love and faithfulness
Thank Him for His constant, caring and faithful presence in your life
